Aurory Moves from Solana to Ethereum Layer-2 Arbitrum

Aurory is growing! The developers are now moving beyond their native Solana blockchain.

Guess what? They're embracing a new blockchain network - Arbitrum.

They hope to expand Aurory's NFTs and its own digital coin, AURY. However, don't panic! This doesn't mean they're leaving Solana for good. Executive Producer Jonathan Campeau once said: "This isn't goodbye but hello to greater opportunities."

Aurory is "Pokemon Meets The Matrix"

That's exactly the gaming magic Campeau is brewing. And guess where he teased us with this mind-bending info? You're right, Kate Irwin's Decrypt interview at the 2023 Game Developer's Conference.

Seamlessly Moving Assets Between Chains

More, you ask? Well, brace yourself for Aurory's new tech feature, SyncSpace.

It helps players zip their game assets between Solana and Arbitrum networks. Now, getting your game assets from one place to another feels like a walk in the park.

"But wait," you might say, "Isn't moving things across different blockchain networks complicated?" Not anymore, my friend! In the past, if you used an Ethereum wallet like MetaMask, shifting to Solana might have been a pain. You'd need to set up a new wallet with Phantom or Solflare, which is undoubtedly kind of annoying.

But now, no more worry lines. Our game lets you log in using just your email. Need to connect a crypto wallet? Do it when you're ready.

Campeau wants you to feel welcomed. He knows that every blockchain, like Solana and Arbitrum, has its own unique audience. He dreams of opening doors wider, so every player finds a home at Aurory.

Building Bridges: The Aurory Story Continues

Remember when I told you about Aurory creating a new technology called SyncSpace? Its purpose is a lot more than just Zap 'em, and there your game assets go. There’s more!

Aurory's Head of Marketing and Business Development, Michael Natoli, shared cool insights about it. He shared that if we move a Solana NFT over to Arbitrum, the original NFT cozy is up at SyncSpace. Want it back on Solana? No worries, with a snap, we can move it.

Good news! This opens up new gateways into the game. It's as if players get a golden ticket into the world of Aurory. Players can bring in their Aurory NFTs and USDC stablecoins via either Solana or Arbitrum. Want to swap USDC for the game's AURY token? You can, and use it in the game!

Wait. There's even more in store. Aurory NFT items on either Solana or Arbitrum act the same within the game realm. This expansion hopes to unite a bigger community and share the Aurory fun with more gamer folks around the globe.

Exploring New Possibilities

Thrilled yet?

We've only just begun! This cross-chain journey unlocks amazing in-game features. Imagine interacting with non-playable characters (NPCs) that exist on certain blockchain worlds! It's like speaking with creatures from another planet. Campeau, the visionary, spills more about his grand plan: unique NPCs linked to individual blockchains. It's as if each blockchain has its own alien species we can befriend and trade with.

Campeau gets us dreaming: “What if an NPC only trades items from the Solana blockchain?” That’s right! Not just moving game items across blockchains, but thriving in a whole new frontier of gaming. Let's get ready to journey in this bold, new world of blockchains.

The Future of Aurory

The future is incredibly bright for Aurory, with not just one, but two games in the development pipeline!

The first game, 'Aurory Adventures,' is a player-versus-environment (PvE) role-playing extravaganza. As a gamer, you'll join on heart-thumping quests, challenge strong foes, and explore fantastical worlds. The game features playable NFT characters, the 'Aurorians,' each boasting unique abilities and traits.

Now, the second one! Say hello to 'Aurory Tactics,' a player-versus-player (PvP) battle arena. It gets your adrenaline pumping with nail-biting strategic battles. You need to outwit your enemies, outplay them, and claim victory! Nefties, Aurory's very own Pokémon-inspired NFT creatures, are a part of this epic game. Catching, hatching, and training Nefties reveal a whole new aspect of the gameplay experience.

Beyond the amazing Aurorians and Nefties, Aurory presents a whole range of enticing in-game NFTs. Fun collectibles like character skins and Neftie eggs are here. It boosts the gameplay experience, giving your characters a personalized look.

Final Thoughts

The buzz around Aurory isn't just hot air.

Back in 2021, it teamed up with some bigwigs - the mighty TSM and FTX, a crypto exchange. For what? To whip up uber-cool NFTs! As cool as hanging out with in-game stars? Yep, and the result? Aurory hit the headlines. Got everyone excited.

But let me bounce back to what we were discussing. This step into another blockchain, Arbitrum - is it Aurory's only move? Campeau, the visionary, hints not quite. He's definitely open to future alliances. Polygon? Avalanche? Maybe Binance Smart Chain (BNB)? Who knows?

One aim fuels Aurory's leaps. It wants to spread its magical world to as many players as possible. It's counting on us - the gaming community - to explore the galaxies of the Web3 ecosystem. Space helmets on, fellow gamers! It promises to be one heck of a fantastic journey!
