Customers whose buy these tagged caps will have access to digital versions of the wearables. All they have to do is scan the tag with their phone. Furthermore, individuals will be able to design their digital avatar on the "Ready Player Me" Metaverse platform. They'll have to take a selfie to do this. They'll then be able to outfit their "digital twin" in the brand's digital baseball caps and hoodies.
Hugo Boss debuted its inaugural NFT collection, "Embrace Your Emotions," in November 2022, in partnership with Metaverse avatar provider Imaginary Ones. The collection included 1,001 emotionally themed 3D avatars, real T-shirts, and a QR code that connected users to a Snapchat Lens.
