Wow, something cool is happening! Adidas, that worldwide clothing giant, has joined forces with an impressive digital artist, Fewocious. They're cooking up something fresh, a physical sneaker collab, and it's hitting the market in a futuristic way. Want to grab a pair? You'll need an NFT redemption pass.

The "Art of Play"
Let's dive into the details. Fewocious is crafting something called "the art of play." Together with Adidas, they are releasing 4,500 pieces of an NFT mint pass. They've named it "Trefoil Flower." If you want to snag one, you'll have to head over to the OpenSea marketplace on June 22. That's the only place they'll be available.
Here's how it works. The NFT mint pass is like a golden ticket. It can be traded for a pair of slick, custom-designed physical sneakers. The shoes go by the name Adidas Originals Campus 00s. You "burn" the NFT to redeem your shoes, a process starting in August. After that, you'll have to wait a month before they ship.

There's more, though. Every pair of these rad sneakers comes with an NFC tag. It's a tech gadget they put in phones, credit cards you don't have to swipe, and even passports. It gets scanned to verify stuff. Plus, it's linked to another NFT.
The NFT Mint Pass
The Trefoil Flower NFT sale is a bit complicated. It's happening in three stages. First up, it's a pre-sale, then a public mint. If you already own Adidas’ Alts Decos or Soles NFTs, or Fewocious Paint Drops, you get early dibs. Plus, you get a discount price of 0.2 ETH (around $350). Other Adidas Alts owners, and those with Fewocious NFTs or some others, can mint later. Their price is 0.25 ETH ($435). The public sale starts soon after, at the same price.

Fewocious, who's real name is Victor Langlois, didn't comment about his sneaker design. He's 20, a transgender artist who creates lively, playful art, full of childhood memory vibes. He's been in the NFT world for three years and is now a big name. His sales total over $50 million, and he's worked with the Nike-owned RTFKT, auction houses Christie’s and Sotheby’s, even the David Bowie estate.
What to Expect Next?
Adidas isn't new to NFTs. They bought a Bored Ape NFT and made a character called Indigo Herz back in December 2021. Their "Into the Metaverse" collection, made with the Bored Ape Yacht Club, Punks Comic, and NFT influencer gmoney, has seen over $150 million in NFT trades. It's even given exclusive merch to owners.
Puma's following Adidas's steps. They've also launched a physical sneaker collab. Their partners? NBA star LaMelo Ball and the NFT project Gutter Cat Gang. Their GutterMelo MB.03 sneaker will be dropping late June. An NFT pass will let you buy a pair for $175. Get ready, folks! This is the future of footwear!
